What is Team FIERCE?

A group of former college and professional athletes who are continuing to push themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. We adhere to the truth of the Church and view sport as a vocation and a way that we can continue to pray, and honor the Lord.

This team is unlike any other.

What sets us apart 

  • We respect the true value of the human body in that it is created as gift and to be a gift.

Rachel Zilinskas

Triathlon Coach

Professional Ironman Triathlete.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Rachel found her love for endurance sports at a young age in the water. Growing into one of the nation's best swimmers, Rachel competed both on the national and international stage, thriving specifically in the Open Water discipline. She swam collegiately at the University of Georgia where I was a 6-time All-American, team captain, and a member of two NCAA National Championship teams. After college, Rachel transitioned her focus to triathlons. She has already seen immense success during what is only the beginning of her professional triathlon career, including 2023 highlights of winning IRONMAN Mont Tremblant (First Out of the Water), and finishing 25th at the IRONMAN World Championships at Kona. As much as Rachel loves racing, her favorite part of triathlon is the lifestyle. She loves the structured and methodical approach to training, and is constantly learning both life and spiritual lessons during the many hours of swims, bikes, and runs. When she trains she feels close to God. She loves passing on her own personal love for triathlon to athletes of all-levels through coaching, and believes that highly personalized coaching is a way to honor our God-given uniqueness and help clients thrive as athletes and individuals.

Tracy Guerrette

Running Coach

After a successful career as a college basketball player at University of Maine, Tracy turned to running. She has had victories at every distance from the 5K to the Marathon. Most notably she was Olympic Trials Qualifier after winning the Maine Marathon in 2017 with a time of 2:43:47. She also placed Top 3 at the famous Beach to Beacon 10K and Top 3 finishes in the half marathon: Seacoast Half (winner) 2018, Quebec City (second place) 2017, Mount Desert Island Marathon 2018 and won Black Bear Marathon 2014, 2015. Sam Kelley

Strength & Conditioning Coach

Certified Strength & Conditioning Trainer. Sam is here to help the FIERCE Team athletes to achieve their goals, by supplementing their training with strength, flexibility, mobility, and injury prevention training. She draws from her own personal experience training as a D1 Soccer athlete, a competitive rower, and now a competitive distance triathlete, as well as the athletes she has coached across many sports including basketball, running, triathlon, rowing, pickleball, field hockey, volleyball etc. Her philosophy to coaching is that laying a strong foundation physically, mentally, and spiritually will help athletes realize their God-given potential.

 Training Methodology

  • We help you build a bridge from where you are now to your optimal performance using a personal, specialized training plan that will fit into your lifestyle. 

  • Whether you want to run your first 5K or desire to qualify for the Boston Marathon, do a sprint tri or qualify for Worlds in the Ironman we will provide you with plans for you and your goals. 

  • We will upload weekly training for you on the Training Peaks App.

  • We will give feedback on your training, touch base before big races, and help you stay on track toward your goals. 

  • We will pray for you and discern how to best coach you.
